1701 A.D.-1809 A.D.

Baltic Region 1701 A.D.
From 1709 to 1710 A.D. the plague ravages Lithuania. German colonization became more intensive in Lithuania Minor. After a period of war and the plague, Lithuania starts to lose its power.

Baltic Region 1772 A.D.
During 1772 A.D. the first partition of Lithuania and Poland takes place. Lithuanian territory, surrounding the Dauguva and Dnieper rivers, falls to Russia.

Baltic Region 1795 A.D.
1793 A.D. marked the second partition of Lithuania and Poland. Russia seizes the lands of Minsk, Volyne and Podole. In 1795 the third partition of Lithuania takes place. Lithuania is annexed by Russia.

Baltic Region 1809 A.D.
From 1795 to 1918 A.D. the whole of Lithuania will be ruled by strangers.
